We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Project Manager Municipal Infrastructure to support and lead the delivery of water and wastewater conveyance projects across the GTA and Southwestern this role you will manage project tasks coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the successful design and implementation of municipal linear infrastructure projects. You will also play a key role in supporting client relationships and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours including 2 days /week in ourMississauga or Bowmanvilleoffice.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support and manage municipal water and wastewater conveyance projects through planning design and construction phases.
- Prepare and review engineering studies Environmental Assessment support documents technical reports plans calculations and contract documents.
- Develop cost estimates technical specifications and tender packages.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers and coordinate with cross-disciplinary project teams.
- Communicate and liaise with clients regulatory agencies contractors and project stakeholders.
- Assist in proposal development including technical content and project approach.
- Participate in project planning and resource coordination to support schedule budget and quality objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and designers.
- Support other CIMA offices across Canada on large-scale water and wastewater initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Professional Engineer (.) licensed with PEO or eligible for transfer.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects specifically linear conveyance systems.
- Demonstrated experience in design and/or construction services for municipal underground infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with trenchless technologies and/or rehabilitation methods considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage tasks and priorities in a team-based environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with engineering design software and virtual collaboration tools.
