Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

Salary:
The annual salary for this position ranges from 28683 to 29426.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children and young people living in a residential setting.
- Support the emotional social and educational development of the children in your care.
- Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each childs needs.
- Ensure a safe environment that meets the physical and emotional needs of children.
- Engage with children in recreational and educational activities that promote their well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of childrens progress and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with families colleagues and external agencies to provide holistic care.
- Participate in training and professional development as required by the organization.
- Uphold the policies and procedures of the organization ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates are not required to have a specific educational background.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in childcare social work or related fields is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to handle challenging behaviors and support children with diverse needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
