Job Summary
Overview
Put your programming skills to the test as you work alongside senior staff to design and develop the next generation of Esris innovative software.
Responsibilities
Depending on your areas of study and interest youll work on our desktop web mobile 2D/3D visualization imagery or core server team.
This past summer interns in Software Development worked on a wide range of challenging projects such as
- Creating running and analyzing automated and manual tests for the latest version of ArcGIS Desktop
- Creating Python scripts to verify geocoding requests for addresses all over the world
- Designing implementing and testing point-to-point routing functionality for the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android
Requirements
- Majoring in computer science
- Knowledge in one or more of these programming languages: C C# .NET Silverlight Java JavaScript HTML5 or web and/or mobile technology
- Existing work authorization for China
