Job Summary
Requirements
- Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years relevant experience of which 3 years should be at supervisory level
- Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving licence is preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and
proactively
- Having experience in handling track data analysis is an advantage
Remarks
- Candidates with less experience or lower qualification will also be considered
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
Responsibilities
- Support mega asset replacement projects and capital works for Permanent Way (P Way) in the operating railway
- Supervise a team of site supervision and contractors to monitor the works ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and performance standards including safety environment quality and workmanship
- Liaise with relevant parties to facilitate smooth execution of works and compliance with specifications and statutory requirements following the programme
- Prepare and uphold site records management to ensure proper documentation for review
- Support with regular office tasks as delegated by superiors
- Support the development and introduction of new technologies to enhance the works quality
