Job Summary

We are excited to announce that with our growth we are adding to our finance team!

We are looking for an accountant with at least 2 years of experience in enterprise level organization. As a staff accountant we have a place for you if you are someone who is eager to grow.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements general ledgers and other financial records
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance a plus!
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP SAGE Intact Oracle)
- Experience with double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices
- Minimum 2 years in a Staff Accounting role with high volume
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in Dental Practice Accounting is a plus
- Knowledge of private equity accounting is a plus
