Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring that all company financial transactions are accurately accumulated classified and recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements. This role supports a broad range of accounting functions and works collaboratively across Finance and the broader organization to ensure accurate reporting compliance and operational efficiency.

### Key Responsibilities

**Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting**

* Prepare timely accurate and reliable monthly divisional financial statements in compliance with internal controls accounting policies and reporting requirements.

* Execute month-end close activities including journal entries accruals reconciliations supporting schedules disclosures and internal control documentation.

* Manage and support accounting activities across multiple areas including:

* General Ledger and Monthly Close

* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

* Revenue and related commercial expenses (commissions and royalties)

* Inventory and costing

* Payroll and benefits

* Long-lived assets (leases fixed assets and intangibles)

* Cash management and liquidity

* Financial analysis

* Management and financial reporting

**Tax Audit & Compliance**

* Support tax-related activities including compilation filings payments audits and monitoring of regulatory changes and related business impacts.

* Coordinate with external auditors (financial debt tax and operational) by providing documentation analysis and audit support.

* Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

**Cash Flow & Budgeting**

* Execute cash flow and liquidity transactions and reporting to ensure sufficient liquidity and alignment with corporate objectives.

* Support Finance in periodic and annual operating and capital budgeting processes.

### Process Improvement Collaboration & Projects

* Participate in process documentation cross-training benchmarking and key metric reporting.

* Identify and lead process improvements related to close and reporting cycles ERP/system implementations and enhancements automation data analytics and master data governance.

* Partner cross-functionally with warehousing and distribution commercial and customer experience teams invoice-to-cash functions (credit invoicing cash application collections) and enabling functions (IT HR Procurement).

* Support ad hoc requests and special projects from senior management including acquisition integrations strategic initiatives and capital or funding matters.

### Qualifications

**Required**

* Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

* Minimum of 2 years of corporate accounting experience.

**Preferred**

* Public accounting experience.

* Experience supporting organizations with annual revenue exceeding $250 million.

* ERP system experience; Microsoft D365 SAP Business One or Oracle/JD Edwards strongly preferred.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
