Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design construction and integration of the Sentinel launch infrastructure at locations to include Vandenberg AFB CA F.E. Warren AFB WY Malmstrom AFB MT and Minot AFB ND. Sentinel is a vital nuclear modernization program that will recapitalize the nations aging ground based leg of the nuclear triad -- the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This is an on-site position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e. every other Friday off) paid overtime and a great work/life balance. For candidates not local to the Ogden area a relocation allowance can be provided.

Key Duties:
- Develop detailed HVAC system designs and 3D models for complex facilities in SmartPlant 3D and other design tools ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with mechanical electrical structural and architectural disciplines to ensure seamless system integration and resolve design conflicts.
- Prepare design documentation including drawings schematics equipment layouts and flow diagrams supporting design reviews and customer submittals.
- Perform HVAC load calculations equipment selection and ductwork and piping layout design to meet performance and compliance standards.
- Support field coordination design verification and as-built documentation throughout all project phases.
RequirementsRequired Skills Experience and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid unexpired Real ID-compliant drivers license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your drivers license or state ID.
- Proficient with the MS Office Suite.
- Experience designing HVAC systems including ducting sheet metal and all associatedequipment.
- Experience with design/drafting tools such as AutoCAD SmartPlant 3D Revit etc.
- Experience working in a project team environment to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 12or more years of relevant experience.
Desired Skills Experience and Education:
- Experience with SmartPlant 3D.
