Job Summary
GiaCare Inc. is hiring experienced civilian Registered Nurses (RNs) for the Internal Medicine Clinic at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda MD supporting the healthcare mission of our nations military.
Qualifications
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing.
Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- National certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing
Experience: A minimum of 3 years full time nursing experience. A minimum of 2 years experience in the last 3 calendar years.
Duties:
- Provides comprehensive professional nursing care for TRICARE Prime enrolled beneficiaries as well as TRICARE for Life and space available beneficiaries presenting with routine and complex interdependent acute and chronic conditions.
- Will provide nursing assistance in the full spectrum management of professional and patient care activities within their scope of practice.
- Assesses screens and/or triages patients via telephone or in-person as directed. Requires expert skillful rapid assessment and triage competencies of patient problem(s) and needs both in clinic and over the telephone.
- Administers oral topical optic ophthalmic rectal vaginal IM SQ and IV medications after validation of provider order.
