Positions Overview

The DAI team is expanding and multiples roles are available within the team. Under the supervision of the manager the Actuarial Analyst III key responsibilities are as followed:

• Act as a thought partner to our partners and colleagues supporting metrics definition to shape strategic actions.
• Design tools that offer a unified real-time view of your respective business area enabling smarter decisions across the organization.
• Communicate insights and recommendations through exploratory analysis
• Create scalable innovative business solutionsby working closely with cross-functional teams across marketing analytics and partner strategy.
• Forecast key business metrics to enable budget optimization strategy
• Champion data integrity and accuracyby establishing validation methods and clear documentation practices.
• Advance actuarial knowledge across the team promoting best practices and translating key actuarial concept to non-actuarial partners
• Mentor and support team growth sharing technical knowledge and business insight to uplift team capability.

Requirements & Skills

• University degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Range of 5 years of related experience
• Bilingual in English and French(required)
• Strong coding skills inSQLandPython
• Experience withdata visualization tools(e.g. Power BI Tableau or Shiny/Posit)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail especially for quality control and data validation
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Skilled in critical thinking creative problem-solving and time management
