Duties: Lead overall resource development (distributed energy grid connected etc.) supporting a rapidly growing portfolio of hyperscale data center projects. Manage multiple third-party developers contractors and utilities to deliver energy resources and associated infrastructure. Negotiate and execute development agreements with third parties contractors and utilities. Partner with customers to achieve energy-related sustainability goals via implementation of
renewable technologies and solutions for a given data center project. Negotiate and execute energy supply agreements with customers in support of company-wide sustainability and energy goals. Coordinate communication and deliverables between utility partners and internal stakeholders. Hybrid working environment. 25% domestic travel for company gatherings partner meetings and project site visits.
Requirements: Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy sector including: 4 years with wind and solar projects including siting interconnection and financing support; 5 years with renewable energy project due diligence including interconnection and supply agreements; 2 years with full cycle development from green fielding to late-stage development; 3 years of experience with US energy markets rates and regulatory tariff structures across multiple regional markets (ERCOT WECC or similar ISO/RTO markets); 3 years of experience with project development processes including siting land acquisition permitting engineering design and construction coordination; 3 years of experience with solar PV technology battery energy storage systems and grid interconnection requirements; and 2 years of experience developing electric grid infrastructure to power critical loads.
Salary: $141000 to $212000 per year
