Why your role matters
The Policy Officer will play a key role in a major policy transformation project within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Quality (DVCAQ) portfolio. This project aims to develop a new Program and Course Policy by reviewing streamlining and consolidating existing policies and procedures.
Working closely with the Policy Developer and Policy Leads the Policy Officer will contribute to drafting revised policy documents lead the development of specific policy areas and provide expert advice throughout the consultation and implementation process.
The role reports to the Senior Academic Offerings Officer (Policy Developer for the project) within the Academic Offerings team and has no direct reports.

If you dont have prior policy experience but have experience with improvement projects in academic administration wed still love to hear from you. This is a hybrid full-time role (Monday to Friday) offered for a six-month fixed term with no extension currently planned. We are looking for a start date as soon as possible.
