About the Opportunity:
Join a collaborative team of professionals passionate about providing excellent customer serviceacross the delivery of our casual recruitment administration processes. As anOfficerin the CasualAdministrativeTeamyoullsupport our divisions &facultiesacross the casual hiring process for both academics and professionals.

Reporting to theCasual Workforce ManagerOfficerssupport the operational needs of diverse client groups whilebuildingstrong professional relationshipsby developing anunderstanding of the unique dynamics of each casual workforce the abilityset priorities and manage workflow in a high-volume environmentyoullensurea tailored efficient and responsivecasualrecruitment experiencefor our staff.

Your day to day will include:

  • Coordinatingadministrative support forthecasual academic and professional recruitment process working closely with Faculty and Division hiring managersacross UNSW.
  • As first point of contact you will act as the subject matter expert in the administration of the casual hiring process.
  • Bringing a keen attention to detail toundertakedata entry and processing of employment documents.
  • Reviewingcasual offers ensuring compliance requirements are met including reference andbackground checks.
  • Monitoringandmaintainingdiversecasual talent pools & application forms asrequired.
  • Providing high quality customer service to ensure an efficient andpositive experience for candidates and Hiring Managers.


Who you are:
We are looking for a detail-orientated and attentive individual withpreviousadministration experience. As a strong communicator you will be confident in building working relationships and delivering high-level service to stakeholders within a large complex environment. As an enthusiasticand motivated admin professionalyoullfit well into our supportive team bringing the ability to work quickly and accurately whilst inputting high volume of data in this fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previousexperience working in an administration capacity within a complex and demanding environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent client service with the ability to set priorities and effectively work independently and as part of a team environment.
  • Ability to draft and prepare documentation witha high levelof attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage workflow independently for a high-volume workload.
  • Ability to use judgment and discretion and seek advice andassistancefrom senior/ specialist staff asrequired.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills in using office software including email word processingspreadsheetsand experience in using computerised HR systems including data review and general reporting.
