UChicago Medicine has committed to a 575000 square feet $800 million freestanding facility dedicated to cancer care and research in Chicago. The excitement does not stop there! UChicago Medicine is relocating the Central Lab to a new location approximately 5 minutes from the main campus. We need a dynamic and capable Program Director for these and similar projects to provide operational and transition planning services that will include move planning workflow coordination and departmental communication. These are roles where you can leave your professional mark on high profile new construction projects.
Reporting to the Director of Operational Planning the Program Director Capital Projects is a strategic business partner. An innovative critical thinker and influential leader the successful candidates will support operational and equipment planning departmental preparation and training and move readiness along with transition support for all departments impacted by the projects. The Program Director will coordinate the work of internal resources as well as consultants and contractors to develop and meet schedule milestones. The Director will support the functions of the Facility Operations team and will assist in informing and reporting on schedule and budgetary milestones to UCM leadership. The Program Director will provide strategic leadership to ensure successful execution from inception to closeout for new construction projects worth in the millions.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
