Job Description:
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Responsible for designing implementing and directing a system-wide infection prevention program. This includes but is not limited to surveillance analysis reporting data collection and ensuring regulatory requirements/standards are in compliance. Directs and facilitates network-wide efforts to ensure that the IP Program is managed using a data-driven and process improvement focus and are aligned back to strategic initiatives. Develops and communicates the strategic vision scope and tactics related to Infection Prevention. Assures that network-wide initiatives are focused and aligned on achieving defined targets improving operational effectiveness and optimizing efficiencies. Develops deploys and coordinates communication and education programs to support the ongoing learning of the AHN teams and its key stakeholders. Ensures data is available to key stakeholders in a timely way and actionable format. Provides ongoing analysis to leadership on Program status estimating year-end achievements and recommendations for further action.
