We are seeking an enthusiastic creative and highly skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join the successful faculty at a well-regarded secondary academy in the affluent Richmond area of South West London.

This is a full-time permanent position starting in January 2026.

• Teach Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 & 4 (KS3/KS4) with the ability to offer a specialism (e.g. Graphics Resistant Materials or Engineering) to Key Stage 5 (KS5).

We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• A proven track record as an excellent Design and Technology Teacher with experience teaching a specialism to at least Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
• Proficiency with relevant workshop tools and/or CAD/CAM technology.
• A genuine passion for design making and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
• The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school.

Salary and Benefits

• Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
  • The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Outer London Pay Scale (The Outer London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately 37870 as of September 2025).
• A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of 2000 per annum.
