Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Team Leader to join our FMCG distribution team in Surat. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in sales team handling strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of the FMCG market. If you are passionate about sales skilled in motivating teams and ready to grow with a leading distributor of P&G products (Ariel Tide Vicks Head & Shoulders Oral-B etc.) this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead supervise and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve daily weekly and monthly sales targets in the assigned territory

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth

  • Monitor sales performance conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

  • Train and onboard new sales representatives providing product knowledge and sales technique guidance

  • Conduct market visits daily (minimum 300 minutes per day with the team) to support field sales execution

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients retailers and distributors

  • Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to identify new opportunities

  • Ensure accurate reporting of sales achievements forecasts and budgets to senior management

  • Drive discipline motivation and accountability within the sales team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience with at least 1 year in field sales team handling

  • Strong knowledge of FMCG industry and distribution networks

  • Proficiency in basic mathematics without a calculator (e.g. calculating percentages margins and discounts)

  • Willingness to work in the field with the team for a minimum of 300 minutes per day

  • Strong selling skills negotiation abilities and customer relationship management

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train mentor and motivate a sales team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and CRM software

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
