About The Role

The Director Talent Success Partner is the strategic talent leader dedicated to 1 of 2 teams within eBay (Global Technology OR Global Markets Experience)! This role partners closely with the People Business Partner (PBP) for the their team to deliver a coordinated people and talent strategy aligning organizational design performance and workforce planning with talent growth learning strategies leadership capability and future skills enablement!

What You Will Accomplish:

Strategic Talent Partnership with key stakeholders

• Partner with the People Business Partner to co-create the Technology people and talent strategy.
  

• Provide thought leadership to SVPs/VPs of Technology on building high-performing teams skills development and leadership effectiveness.
  

• Translate business and technology strategy into actionable talent interventions (e.g. skills development mobility succession).
  

Use CaseDriven Talent Solutions

• Critical skills acceleration: Partner with the AI Academy and business teams to identify and embed emerging skills into Technology career pathways.
  

• Leadership & teaming at scale: Strengthen manager and leadership capability through Leading and teaming offerings and specifically apply solutions to Technologys global hybrid teams.
  

• Internal mobility & careers: Bring to life pathways and frameworks that unlock Technology career growth mobility and retention of top talent.
  

• Onboarding for impact: Deploy Onboarding consistently to ensure Technology talent ramps quickly contributing to innovation and delivery.

Future Skills & Workforce Transformation

• Partner with AI Academy and Future Skills teams to develop interventions for high-demand skills and roles.
  

• Track and measure outcomes to ensure ROI and readiness.
  

Program Activation & Talent Enablement

• Drive adoption of global talent success programs (Learning AI Coaching etc.) in Technology.
  

• Embed employee listening insights into action plans to improve engagement performance and career satisfaction.
  

• Ensure measurable impact of investment in Talent Success programs.
  

Enterprise Leadership & Collaboration

• Work hand-in-hand with the PBP and People Team Centers of Excellence to ensure their team receives flawless business-aligned support.
  

• Represent Technology talent needs in Talent forums and governance councils.
  

• Contribute as a member of the Talent Success leadership team helping to develop eBays global talent agenda.
  

What You Will Bring:

• Dedicated to working our Hybrid Model with 3 days per week in either our Austin Texas office or our corporate headquarters in San Jose California.

• 12 years of progressive HR/Talent leadership with deep experience in Technology/Technology populations.
  

• Proven ability to partner with HRBPs/PBPs to deliver coordinated people and talent strategies.
  

• Strong consulting and advisory skills able to influence at senior levels.

• Data-driven with the ability to translate insights into strategy and measurable action.

The applicable base pay range for this position is dependent on work location. The base pay range inthe San Francisco Bay Area New York City Metro and Seattle Metro is expected in the range below:

The base pay range for all other U.S. work locations is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
