As our EDI Lead youll be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making and cultural transformation. Youll use your analytical expertise to uncover insights from sensitive diversity data and translate them into impactful strategies. Your work will directly inform leadership decisions and shape Council-wide initiatives that promote fairness empathy and shared responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of diversity and inclusion data to inform strategic EDI interventions
  • Designing and delivering training programmes that foster inclusive dialogue and awareness across all levels
  • Influencing stakeholders to embed EDI principles into everyday practices and policies
  • Ensuring compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and promoting intersectional approaches to inclusion
  • Supporting staff networks retention efforts and celebrating key cultural events throughout the year

Were looking for someone with proven experience in EDI strong facilitation and communication skills and a deep commitment to social justice. Youll need to be confident working with complex data sets influencing diverse stakeholders and maintaining confidentiality.
