Northeast Counseling is seeking a full-time Intake Worker as part of the daytime multidisciplinary team scheduling and providing initial evaluations on individuals requesting mental health services.
The Intake Worker is the point of first contact for an individual couple or family who desire counseling services. They screen requests for service. They provide crisis intervention if warranted. They conduct in person psychosocial evaluations to present to the clinical team to aid in treatment planning. They assist clients in accessing mental health services and other relevant community resources. This workforce member has access to the complete chart for cases requiring workers involvement.
Intake workers are also responsible to provide crisis intervention services as needed. Bachelors Degree in a human service field required.
