Job Summary
TITLE: Maintenance Staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MS Drivers License
- Prior experience in facility maintenance is essential
- Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be established by the School Board
REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance
JOB GOALS: To ensure the safe operation and maintenance of school district equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Such duties as may be assigned including but not limited to the following:
- Install repair and maintain electrical mechanical and plumbing components in proper working order throughout the District
- Comply with all acceptable standards and codes set for the industry
- Check adjust and make minor repairs to heating cooling systems and cafeteria equipment
- Perform electrical repairs that include: ballasts switches fuses plugs and gauges
- Maintain all equipment assigned individually in a good and proper working condition
- Follows all board policies and procedures
- Maintains regular attendance and is punctual
- Promotes the districts vision mission and goals
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance
JOB EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel
