Job Summary (List Format):
- Primary Assignment: Behavioral health unit majority of the time
- Contract Duration: Must continue into January; earliest end date is Jan 3
- Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; only one holiday off allowed (choose one day only not eve day after)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
- On Call: No on-call duties
- Weekends: Required to work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule; could be scheduled 1 2 or all 3 weekend days
- Floating: Yes including possible Pediatric assignments
- Patient Ratios: High patient ratios typically 1:5-6 may increase to 1:8 during high volume or holidays
- Required Certifications:
- State license
- ACLS
- BCLS (AHA)
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- ENPC (Preferred)
- Required Experience:
- Level I trauma experience (REQUIRED)
- Minimum 2 years ER experience preferred (will consider 1.5 years with full skill set)
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- EPIC charting experience
- Preferred Experience:
- First-time travelers accepted
- IV and procedural sedation administration
- Triage
- Unit Information:
- Level 1 Trauma Stroke Heart and Pediatric Emergency Center
- High patient volume especially during holidays
- Scheduling Notes:
- No additional RTO (Requested Time Off) will be approved after submission
- Specific blackout dates for RTO: 11/28-11/30 12/19-12/21 12/26-12/28
- Miscellaneous:
- Local candidates accepted (at same pay rate)
- Non-billable modules (allow for 5 hours)
- Aya offer contingent on clinical pass
