Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room (RN ER)
Location: Saint Clares Hospital Dover NJ
Region: New Jersey
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN ER) provides high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN is responsible for rapid assessment triage and treatment of patients experiencing acute illness or injury while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity

Deliver emergency nursing care following established clinical protocols

Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes

Administer medications IV therapy blood products and emergency treatments as ordered

Assist with trauma care resuscitation and life-saving procedures

Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record

Communicate effectively with patients families physicians and care teams

Maintain compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements

Active RN license (New Jersey or compact license)

Recent Emergency Room nursing experience required

Strong critical thinking multitasking and decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively in high-acuity fast-paced environments

BLS Required
-
ACLS Required
-
PALS and/or TNCC Preferred
