Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals. This role involves patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The RN will primarily work the night shift (NOC) in the Pediatric Emergency Room with potential to cover day shifts as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients.
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Float between units as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- TNCC ACLS BLS PALS NRP certifications.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills.
- Minimum two years of hospital home health or hospice care experience.
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
- Drivers license car insurance and automobile for field work.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Pediatric Emergency Room experience.
Special Considerations:

- Predominantly night shift (NOC) work.
- May fill in for day shifts as needed.
- Weekend work required (minimum every other weekend).
- Expected patient ratio of 1:5.
Scheduling:
- NOC shift is the primary schedule.
- Potential to fill in for day shifts.
