The Finance Executive will assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the companys financial operations ensuring accuracy in accounting records compliance with statutory requirements effective budgetary control and sound financial management to support business decisions and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Support in developing and monitoring budgets forecasts and financial plans.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable receivable payroll and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations tax laws and internal control policies.
- Coordinate and review the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow working capital and expenditure to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Support the external audit process and liaise with auditors tax authorities and financial institutions.
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial systems processes and reporting tools.
- Supervise and mentor junior finance team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide analytical insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA ACCA or equivalent (mandatory).
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity confidentiality and professionalism.
