About the Opportunity:
In this Management Analyst 5 (MA5) role you will be a key strategic partner to the CSVS Director supporting the development evaluation and deployment of foundational frameworks for CSVS service delivery. Youll provide expert-level analysis and consultation on complex multidimensional issues affecting CSVS programs and policies conducting varied analytical projects research and formulating recommendations to ensure exceptional service to state government and public customers. Additionally you will be responsible for the overall planning organization and management of the Capitol Security customer service program which includes supervising a Program Specialist 2 and overseeing the implementation and continued success of physical security systems (such as Genetec Everbridge and KeyWatcher) to safeguard campus facilities.
Duties
Some of What Youll Enjoy Doing Includes:
Lead analytical support for CSVS programs focusing on Strategic Planning Management Analysis Consultation and Reporting.
Develop implement and provide visibility of performance metrics using Lean visual management tools to track effective operation and service delivery.
Analyze data to offer management alternatives and recommendations for improving Customer Satisfaction Team Satisfaction and Financial Health.
Contribute to the development and updating of divisional and program policies procedures budget strategies and digital content for internal and external customers.
Lead the planning and deployment of CSVS business systemsoverseeing the entire lifecycle from identifying business and system requirements through procurement development change management and resource coordination.
Act as the CSVS representative for cross-entity business analysis teams collaborating with public and private partners and presenting key findings and recommendations to executive management.
Serve as a key system administrator and Access Control Supervisor (overseeing systems like Everbridge and Genetec Security Center Synergis) to ensure accurate data collection and guarantee the systems meet the divisions security and operational needs.
Supervise assigned staff providing leadership professional development and timely performance management to ensure successful team operations and growth.
Provide essential Division administrative support to the CSVS Deputy Assistant Director managing responsibilities such as contract management purchasing and serving as the Public Records Coordinator.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in emergency management business administration public administration or related field.
- Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in two (2) or more of the following areas:
- conducting research
- analyzing policies laws rules or regulations
- conducting business analysis and developing requirements
- leading business projects
- managing business operations
- business policy development
- One (1) year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Security Software Configuration and Design experience.
- Demonstrated expert-level writing and communications skills with attention to detail in formatting and editing reports correspondence and other documents.
- In-depth knowledge of government organization and administrative procedures office methods and procedures research and data collection agency policies and procedures.
- Advanced competency in operating MS Word Excel Visio Project and Outlook computer software programs.
