Position Description:

CGI is seeking to hire a highly experienced Oracle PL/SQL developer with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on expertise in designing and optimizing complex database solutions. The role involves developing robust PL/SQL procedures to support critical investment risk workflows ensuring performance scalability and reliability across production-grade systems.

Ideal candidate must demonstrate deep proficiency in relational database design query optimization and data integrity along with a strong understanding of ETL frameworks and data modeling best practices. Familiarity with Git Jira and modern development workflows is essential as is prior experience in the financial services industry.

This is a Full Time Employment Opportunity based in Merrimack NH; Boston MA; or Westlake TX in a HYBRID Working Model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Design and develop robust PL/SQL procedures supporting critical risk workflows
.Optimize database packages for performance scalability and reliability
.Collaborate across engineering infrastructure and data teams
.Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot production issues
.Contribute to long-term data architecture and modernization efforts

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.10 years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience
.Deep expertise in relational database design query optimization and performance tuning
.Proven success in production-grade database systems
.Understanding of ETL frameworks and data modeling best practices
.Strong ownership mindset and cross-functional collaboration skills
.Familiarity with Git Jira and modern development workflows
.Experience within the financial services industry.

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field such as Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or a related discipline.

Desired skills:
.Experience with investment risk systems or financial data workflows
.Exposure to Python or scripting languages
.Knowledge of AWS RDS Snowflake or cloud-based platforms

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89600.00 - $172400.00.
