Summary: Under the supervision of the RSS Employment Program Manager the RSS Employment Generalist is responsible for supporting program efforts to clients with eligibility assessment enrollment and assistance with employment services including job placement job readiness education and follow-up of client services.
Position Responsibilities:
*Works with eligible client communities to provide enrollment and on boarding of RSS Employment services.
*Assist clients with job placement and upskilling opportunities through contacts with career education providers and community partners.
*Guide clients by providing opportunities for career pathway jobs and training programs.
*Assist employers through providing access to interpreting services for client job orientation or training.
*Provides direct service support and referrals as needed and work together with staff members in areas of housing employment job training health and emergency in regards to client service plan and agency or program goals.
*Assist with maintenance of program case files and data entry using ClientTrack program case noting and other approved program or agency used data bases.
Accompany clients to job orientations when necessary
Report on activities visits meeting and special client concerns to the other staff during required weekly staff meetings.
Conducts outreach to new and former clients to enroll and boost program outcomes.
Discuss concerns regarding client situations or program issues with appropriate staff immediately.
Complete weekly schedule bi-weekly timesheets and monthly mileage etc.
Must be sensitive to the service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self others.
Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information services rendered to clients donors names and gifts internal and external investigations or results of any investigations and financial information.
Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.
