What Youll Do:

Lead aerodynamic design and analysis for advanced turbine components and flow paths.

Perform 1-D 2-D and 3-D aerodynamic modeling for blades nozzles and exhaust diffusers.

Develop and enhance predictive tools and simulation methods for improved aerodynamic performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Mechanical Design Heat Transfer and Performance to deliver world-class turbine solutions.

Analyze test results develop performance predictions and support product upgrades and field issues.

Integrate CFD-based insights (ANSYS CFX STAR-CCM) into design validation and optimization cycles.

Automate design processes using Python C or C to streamline development workflows.
What You Bring:
-
Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
-
710 years of experience in turbine or gas path aerodynamics design and simulation.
-
Proficiency in CFD tools (ANSYS CFX STAR-CCM) and geometry modeling software (e.g. Creo).
-
Experience with Python C or C for computational and data analysis.
-
Ability to manage complex technical challenges and collaborate across engineering disciplines.
-
Excellent communication skills and a passion for precision engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) with a focus on turbine aerodynamics.

Experience in aerothermal optimization or cooled turbine design.

Familiarity with automation tools for pre- and post-processing in CFD environments.
