Imaging Service Engineer I
Location: Greensboro NC Employment
Type: Full-time permanent (with a top client)
Role Overview: The Imaging Service Engineer will handle preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repair of diagnostic imaging equipment in a hospital setting. The focus is on equipment reliability patient safety and strong customer support.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Install inspect maintain calibrate and repair imaging equipment such as CT C-arm portable X-ray and ultrasound systems
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently using test tools and diagnostic software
Work closely with clinical staff to identify and solve technology-related problems
Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency support when required
Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field
3 years of experience maintaining and repairing clinical devices or 1 year of imaging equipment experience with formal or military technical training
Strong troubleshooting skills with diagnostic imaging equipment
Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment
Good communication time-management and customer service skills
