Job Summary

Were looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with strong CNC machining experience who can improve processes support production and drive higher part quality and throughput. This role focuses on machining strategy CAD/CAM support and creating practical solutions that help the shop run more efficiently. Its a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Support CNC machining operations by developing and improving manufacturing processes tooling strategies and production methods.
Create and release manufacturing drawings and documentation to support consistent production output.
Develop CAD/CAM programming support using SolidWorks and related machining software.
Design fixtures and gaging solutions that improve repeatability accuracy and safe part handling.
Lead continuous improvement efforts using lean tools and structured problem-solving techniques.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering required.
5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in CNC machining environments.
Experience supporting CNC programming CAD/CAM workflows and machining process planning.
Strong understanding of machining fundamentals including tool selection cutting methods and surface finishing.
Working knowledge of GD&T and machining metals.
Ability to create production-ready manufacturing drawings.
Proven experience with fixture design and gaging methods.
Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
