Key Responsibilities
- Support CNC machining operations by developing and improving manufacturing processes tooling strategies and production methods.
- Create and release manufacturing drawings and documentation to support consistent production output.
- Develop CAD/CAM programming support using SolidWorks and related machining software.
- Design fixtures and gaging solutions that improve repeatability accuracy and safe part handling.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts using lean tools and structured problem-solving techniques.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering required.
- 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in CNC machining environments.
- Experience supporting CNC programming CAD/CAM workflows and machining process planning.
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals including tool selection cutting methods and surface finishing.
- Working knowledge of GD&T and machining metals.
- Ability to create production-ready manufacturing drawings.
- Proven experience with fixture design and gaging methods.
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
