About the Opportunity
Were working with a Northern Vermont CPA firm seeking a seasoned tax professional ready to step into a key leadership role within a growing well-established public accounting firm. This position offers the opportunity to oversee complex client relationships mentor junior team members and play an essential role in the firms ongoing succession and expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage tax engagements across a variety of industries.

  • Review and advise on complex individual partnership and corporate tax returns.

  • Provide proactive tax planning and strategic advisory services to a high-value client base.

  • Mentor and develop staff accountants and managers to strengthen firm-wide technical expertise.

  • Collaborate with partners to implement firm-wide initiatives and operational improvements.

  • Stay current on tax law changes to ensure compliance and deliver informed guidance.

  • Contribute to business development efforts through networking relationship management and community engagement.



Requirements

  • Active CPA license required.

  • 5 years of progressive public accounting experience including leadership responsibilities.

  • Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Commitment to exceptional client service and team development.
