About the Role
Seeking a skilled Workday Developer specializing in Compensation to support HR Technology with testing data setup and ongoing ticket resolution. This role provides hybrid functional testing and backfill support during a major project (JBR) ensuring Workday Compensation processes function as configured.
Key Responsibilities

Backfill functional responsibilities of hiring manager during JBR project phases.

Execute comprehensive testing activities-regression functional UAT-across compensation cycles (Merit Bonus Stock).

Set up maintain and validate test data for compensation configuration cycles.

Document and communicate test case results defects and improvement recommendations.

Partner with developers analysts and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.

Support day-to-day BAU compensation tickets troubleshooting configuration and data issues.

Maintain clear communication of testing progress blockers and outcomes with leadership.
Required Qualifications

5 years of work experience with Workday focusing on Advanced and Core Compensation modules.

Proven ability to test Compensation processes end-to-end including eligibility rules and condition logic.

Strong analytical problem-solving organizational and communication skills.

Experience with test script creation execution and detailed documentation.

Proficient in Excel Smartsheet or equivalent tools for testing and tracking purposes.
Preferred Qualifications

Workday Advanced Compensation Certification.

Experience with regression/release testing cycles.

Familiarity with EIBs reporting validation or Workday Security.

Prior exposure supporting Compensation modules in a global setting.
