Registered Nurse (RN)— Emergency Dept (ED)—Full time Days

HERES WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required;

BSN preferred.

Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required

One-year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program.

Two years of Emergency experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.

BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support -Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterlyrequired

ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Support- within 90 days required

PALS-Pediatric Advance Life Support- within in 90 days required

TNCC-Trauma Nursing Core Course within 12 months required

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 Days Required

WORK LOCATION: The address is 1970 W University Dr Prosper TX 75078

WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time Days (7A-7P) for 36 hrs./ week. Every other weekend and 2 major 2 minor holidays a year required

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

Our 10-bed facility is an extension of our Texas Health Plano hospital which is a Level II Trauma Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.
