Position Title: Philanthropic ManagerDepartment: Laradon Philanthropic and Development Department Reporting Function: Chief People and Philanthropic OfficerSupervisory Functions: None Salary: $80000 to $95000Job Summary: The Fundraising Manager is responsible for leading and expanding Laradons individual giving and fundraising initiatives to support programs serving youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role cultivates meaningful donor relationships manages campaigns and ensures Laradons mission continues to inspire generosity and community impact.Key Responsibilities: - Develop implement and evaluate Laradons annual fundraising plan.
- Serve as the primary fundraiser for individual and major donors.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors prospective supporters and community partners.
- Identify new fundraising opportunities and partnerships including local influencers and corporate prospects.
- Represent Laradon at community events conferences and donor engagements.
- Manage all aspects of planned giving and maintain an active donor portfolio.
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate events tours donor communications and marketing materials.
- Maintain accurate records in the donor database (e.g. tracking gifts pledges and communications).
- Participate in Laradon events and serve as an ambassador for the organization.
- Creating reports and presenting with fundraising and department statistics monthly to the executive team.
Minimum Position Requirements: - Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 57 years of progressive experience in fundraising or development.
- Demonstrated success in individual giving and/or major gift solicitation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Passion for Laradons mission and experience supporting people with IDD.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
