Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field

CPA or CMA designation preferred

Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Oracle SAP)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong leadership and communication abilities

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Day to Day Responsibilities:

The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the organizations cost accounting functions ensuring the accuracy of cost data and analyzing financial information to support strategic decision-making. This role involves developing cost models preparing reports and collaborating with multiple departments to optimize cost efficiency.

Manage the cost accounting team and workflow

Analyze production costs and identify discrepancies

Prepare timely and accurate cost reports for management

Develop and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures

Collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities

Conduct variance analysis and budget forecasting
