Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred).
5 years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite SAP).
Experience in manufacturing or aerospace industry preferred.
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
The Accounting Manager oversees daily accounting operations ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance with regulations and efficient team performance. This role supports strategic decision-making by maintaining strong internal controls and providing timely financial insights.
Oversee general ledger accounts payable receivable and payroll functions.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Manage budgeting forecasting and variance analysis processes.
Lead month-end and year-end close procedures.
Ensure compliance with GAAP tax laws and internal policies.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Collaborate with auditors tax advisors and senior management on financial matters.
