Inviting applications for the role of Consultant Storage and Backup Engineer L2

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain enterprise storage systems (NetApp Dell EMC Pure Storage) and backup infrastructure (Veeam Commvault)

Perform daily health checks on storage arrays backup jobs and replication status.

Assist in provisioning LUNs shares and access permissions based on service requests.

Execute scheduled backups and restore operations while ensuring adherence to RPO/RTO objectives.

Respond to incidents and alerts in ServiceNow and escalate to L3 as required.

Perform firmware updates and basic troubleshooting of storage or backup devices.

Ensure data protection compliance retention and encryption policies.

Maintain SOPs storage inventory records and backup job documentation in CMDB.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science IT or related field.

Good years of experience in storage or backup administration.

Familiarity with NetApp Dell EMC Veeam or Commvault systems.

Understanding of ITSM principles (Incident Change Problem).

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Primary: NetApp Dell EMC Veeam Commvault ServiceNow.

Secondary: Azure Blob AWS S3 Splunk monitoring PowerShell scripting.

Certifications: NetApp NCDA / Veeam Certified Engineer preferred.
