Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with strong expertise in lighting systems and electronic hardware design. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for designing developing testing and supporting lighting-related electronic solutions from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop analog digital and mixed-signal electronic circuits with a focus on lighting and power electronics.

Develop LED driver circuits power management systems and lighting control electronics.

Perform schematic design component selection circuit simulation and PCB layout.

Build test and validate prototypes to ensure performance reliability and compliance.

Conduct design reviews and support EMI/EMC thermal and environmental considerations.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as schematics BOMs test reports and design notes.

Collaborate with mechanical firmware manufacturing and quality teams.

Support troubleshooting root cause analysis and design improvements during production.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering or a related field.

37 years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware design.

Strong experience in lighting systems LED drivers and power electronics.

Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer OrCAD or KiCad.

Experience with circuit simulation tools (SPICE LTspice).

Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and power analyzers.

Knowledge of EMI/EMC principles and design for manufacturability.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in defence aerospace or ruggedized electronics.

Familiarity with lighting standards and safety compliance.

Experience with embedded systems or lighting control firmware.

Knowledge of thermal management for high-power lighting designs.
