Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on HR experience and a strong understanding of HR operations compliance and employee relations. This role supports a wide range of HR functions including onboarding benefits administration performance management policy implementation and HR reporting.
This is a 4.5 month contract to hire with hybrid flexibility after 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations performance management and compliance.
- Administer employee onboarding offboarding and new hire orientation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS system.
- Assist in benefits administration including enrollments changes and open enrollment processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with managers to address employee issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs screening candidates and coordinating interviews.
- Participate in HR initiatives such as engagement programs training and DEI activities.
- Generate HR reports and metrics to support business and compliance needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.
