About the job:
Advantra is partnering with a Series A AI startup to hire a Customer Implementation Specialist to support accounting and deduction teams help customers adopt the platform and translate feedback into product improvements.
About the role:
You will help brands implement Confidos deductions management software troubleshoot challenges collect user feedback and assist the sales team. You will document processes and support product improvements based on real-world customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Support accounting and deduction teams in onboarding and implementing Confido.
- Troubleshoot user challenges and provide ongoing customer support.
- Collect feedback to inform product improvements and feature prioritization.
- Document retailer/distributor deduction processes and cash application workflows.
- Partner with the sales team on calls to provide domain expertise and support.
- Assist in translating user pain points into actionable product requirements.
- Maintain clear and organized documentation for internal and customer use.
Core requirements:
- 3 years of deductions management experience at a CPG brand with $20M in annual sales.
- Accounting degree or staff-level accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of cash application deductions and financial workflows.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to translate customer needs into product feedback and documentation.
- Comfortable working full-time in NYC with regular travel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience supporting software implementation or adoption in a business context.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-growing tech environment.
- Familiarity with AI-powered financial or CPG platforms.
- Experience in customer success or implementation roles.
- Proficiency in documenting complex workflows and processes.
- Knowledge of deductions automation or related software tools.
