ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Title – Head MRO (Industrial Products)
Location – Mumbai – HO
Role Reports To – Chief Industrial Products
Purpose :
PIL is now looking at hiring a head for this business for scaling it up through geographical expansion and widening product basket.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales & Key Account Management -
- Development and implementation of annual plan for the region.
- Ensure achievement of sales objective (volume/value product region wise new/focus product) with customer centric approach
- Identify the expanding markets segments & plan for effective coverage by ensuring dealer involvement as necessary
- Ensure business growth at key accounts by the required level of relationship building and engagement with decision makers
- Ensure identification of Key Accounts in the area influencer network in key accounts and strategy development to tap the business.
- Resolve complaints queries of key accounts in an efficient manner
Influencer Management -
- Ensure and drive required engagement with key influencers to generate product demand
- Ensure conversion of opportunities by the team
New Business Development -
- Serve applications and markets not served currently by outsourcing or developing products working closely with R & D
- Explore technology tie ups to play in technologies where the company does not operate today
Training and induction of team members –
- Ensure capability/skill building of employees in the team.
Team management and team building –
- Build and engage a strong team for BD as well as commercial excellence
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Education -
* Graduate or Post Graduate Degree from a good University/B-School
Experience -
* Minimum 15 to 18 years' of total experience with familiarity in furthering MRO Sale & Business Development
* Have entrepreneurial Spirit & promote business growth
* Experience in leading building business in the segment
Functional Skills -
* Good organizational and planning abilities;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to adapt and clearly communicate information to a wide range of audiences and situations.

* Relationship Building
* Analytical Skills
