Inviting applications for the role of FC & Tax - Manager English - On site Johannesburg!

Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for performing Finance activities. You will liaise with various teams and deliver to ensure accurate solution.
You will collaborate with team and ensure streamlining of existing processes and remove NVAs (Non value adds) from process.
You will also need to mentor and train new hires in the process.
Review of GL schedules and journal entries in the ERP system
Management of COE (Centre of excellence)
Review of audit schedules handling audit queries and management of audit timelines (Internal and external)
Ensure SOX Controls related to the process are implemented and adhered to.
Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Variance Analysis etc.
Handling queries from various partners
Review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations to ensure quality in process
Ensure maintenance of BS open items
Ensure completion of reconciliations in line with stipulated timelines
Completion of month end activities and management of the overall process
Adherence to all compliance requirements
Completion of mandatory training in line with stipulated timelines
Ensure trainings are completed for team
Completion and review of admin related tasks for tracking purposes (examples: MOJO MJE tracker etc)
Lead the team to ensure excellence
Coach develop and mentor team
Standardize and align processes
Ensure process efficiencies
Other ad-hoc requests as required

Core Competencies:
Management skills
Proficient with general accounting closing and reporting.
Process improvement
Knowledge of SAP with Essbase Hyperion

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
BCom (Hons will be an advantage)
