Your new role

As a Key Account Manager at Novo Nordisk you will:

  • Develop commercial financial and access strategies to ensure the achievement of institutional channel objectives (sales collection access).
  • Coordinate internal efforts with access finance supply chain regulatory and legal teams to ensure the proper execution of contracts commercial agreements and financial flow of sales processes.
  • Build and strengthen a strategic network of contacts within EPS logistics operators and public/private entities to position Novo Nordisk as a strategic partner in the healthcare system.
  • Ensure compliance with policies on transparency ethics and commercial compliance in all stakeholder interactions.
  • Design and implement strategic plans for each account.

The Key Account Management team in Colombia plays a crucial role in driving sales activities and representing Novo Nordisk to healthcare professionals pharmacies hospitals and public institutions. Our team is dedicated to developing and implementing sales strategies managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets. We work collaboratively to analyse information prioritise opportunities and deliver solutions that make a difference in the healthcare system. Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Must-Have Skills
    • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of the Colombian healthcare system.
    • Experience in public/private tender processes and contract negotiation and strong skills in strategic planning negotiation financial management and high-level networking.
    • Advanced Excel skills; experience with CRM and SAP/ERP systems.
    • Conversational English proficiency.
    • Availability to travel up to 50%.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills
    • In-depth knowledge of medical billing the functioning of EPS and the structure of the sales process and direct experience working with insurance companies will be highly valued.
