The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic young professional to strengthen the team in Dispute Management. This department is responsible for chargebacks and disputes focusing on the research and resolution of customer issues. The ideal candidate will apply bank and card industry regulations and practices in resolving disputes while compiling aggregate statistics on chargebacks to help identify patterns and improve overall customer service.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage merchant disputes on behalf of our clients ensuring timely and fair resolutions.
- Review and analyze dispute documentation and evidence provided by merchants to assess validity and impact.
- Prepare and deliver daily reports detailing case status metrics and recommended actions.
- Participate in daily escalation meetings to discuss high-priority cases and determine next steps.
- Develop a thorough understanding of each merchants business model to enhance the analysis of documentation and evidence.
- Contribute to the development maintenance and monitoring of the departmental Service Level Agreement (SLA).
