As a Reconciliations Team Manager in the Private Banking Operations team you will lead efforts to ensure accurate and timely reconciliations of client accounts across multiple currencies. You will drive process improvements manage team performance and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability. You will be responsible for resolving discrepancies analyzing trends and maintaining compliance with corporate policies. Your leadership will support our mission to deliver exceptional client experiences and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage reconciliations of all private banking accounts across various currencies
- Investigate and resolve breaks and discrepancies between internal and counterparty statements
- Analyze and report on open items trends and ageing through detailed MIS
- Track analyze and follow up on outstanding requirements
- Support the team in delivering high-quality operations
- Handle miscellaneous requests and assist with research and investigation
- Document procedures and identify requirements for additional controls
- Coach and provide feedback to team members to enhance performance
- Resolve conflicts negotiate and manage difficult conversations
- Identify and mitigate risks by implementing appropriate controls
- Conduct periodic process reviews and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Strong knowledge of Reconciliation functions in Financial Services operations.
- Proven relationship-building skills with diverse groups and senior executives.
- Client focus with experience servicing sensitive trust relationships and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
- Ability to manage large teams develop key talent as well as manage the expectations of people. Ability to manage groups remotely across multiple locations.
- Be able to drive positive changes promote ownership and demonstrate My business Mentality.
- Inclusive relationship management and collaborative teamwork.
- Strategic thinking with creativity and innovation and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities and experience in process review and improvement.

- Familiarity with corporate accounting policies and procedures
- Experience implementing operational controls and risk mitigation strategies
- Track record of successful process optimization initiatives
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification in operations or financial services (e.g. CPA CFA)
