Job Summary

Job Summary:

Overseeing employee salary and benefits analysing and preparing journal entries and keeping
complete payroll and other related files.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides accurate and timely computation of training allowance.
  • Coordinates with Campaign Managers/Team Leaders for employee attendance.
  • Updates Tracker for training allowance.
  • Monitors resigned trainees.
  • Keeps complete and organized and other payroll-related files.
  • Set up deductions for SSS and HDMF loans.
  • Set up payroll deduction for Canteen Insurance Savii and Acebedo deductions.
  • Monitors headset issuance release and deductions.
  • Tagging of headsets and submitting reports for headset balances.
  • Handles Bank Account Opening for New Hires.
  • Releasing of employees ATM.
  • Conducts training allowance orientation to new hires.
  • Prepares bank reconciliation report for SVCPH and EBP Dollar and Peso Accounts.
  • Record interest income.
  • Manages Accounting Storage rooms.
  • Monitors medicine and office supplies.
  • Updating of BIR manual books like Sales Book Purchase Book Cash Receipts Books Disbursement Book and General Ledger.
  • Issues manual Invoices and Collection Receipts.
  • Monitors additional dependents for insurance and sets up payroll deductions.
  • Submission of PEZA Report Farm In-8105.
  • Complies with applicable laws rules and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Assists in creating and implementing policies and procedures to identify and resolve control issues related to payroll and other benefit payments.
  • Attends continuing education seminars/ training to keep abreast with developments in labor standards.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in payroll processing and accounting in a Philippine setting.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience in the BPO industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Strong GL accounting and reconciliation background.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Mathematical and analytical skills
  • Communication and vendor relationship skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
