As a Controls Assurance Manager youll make an impact by evaluating testing and enhancing the banks internal control environment that supports regulatory compliance risk mitigation and operational effectiveness.
This involves engaging building rapport with control and risk owners helping them understand findings and supporting them in planning next steps.
End to end practice promoting a culture of continuous improvement and enhanced risk awareness ensuring the first line owns their controls.
Were seeking specialistations in:

Position description: Controls Assurance Manager Position
These are permanent positions. We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum three days per week based out of our Melbourne Adelaide Bendigo or Sydney corporate office.
What youll bring to the role
To succeed in this role wed love you to have:
- Proven experience in control design risk assessment and control testing preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business processes and regulatory guidance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate motivate influence and build relationships at all levels of an organisation.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting Commerce Business Information Systems or related discipline with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge training and/or experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CAP CIA CISA or CRISC certification are highly valued.
