About the Opportunity
The Program Controls Manager (PCM) is responsible for coordinating the analysis of performance time scope quality and cost data as well as contributing to the necessary reporting. The PCM plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing activities across all projects ensuring smooth progress and ultimately contributing to project success. The PCM drives the delivery of projects generating the data to assist the PMs in making informed project decisions and is responsible for project scheduling cost control progress measurement risk management and reporting. The PCM is also responsible for Business Unit activity in capturing analysing and where appropriate implementing lessons identified as well as cultivating a continuous improvement culture in the PM environment. The PCM is responsible for ensuring that PM practice and execution align with business-wide functional standards

Whats Involved
- Develop implement and govern project controls standards procedures and compliance.
- Monitor project performance analyse cost and schedule variances and report KPIs to stakeholders.
- Lead mentor and provide guidance to project controls team members to deliver program objectives.
- Maintain schedule quality manage version control and ensure alignment with audit requirements.
- Conduct Earned Value Management forecasting and detailed project health and risk analysis.
- Oversee cost estimating budgeting forecasting and variance reporting to support informed decisions.
- Ensure all project activities comply with financial regulations and achieve value-for-money objectives.
- Drive quality assurance continuous improvement and the application of Lessons Learned across projects.
Youll Need
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce finance or engineering.
- Experience in a sustainment or complex project environment.
- Demonstrated experience of establishing project controls for complex projects.
