The Field Service Technician provides professional service to Sandvik customers by installing and repairing equipment in a safe and timely manner. The technician will work closely with other departments within Sandvik to ensure customer satisfaction and solve problems effectively.
Responsibilities:
Shipping and receiving operations
RPS field services and corresponding service reports
RPS Tool teardown servicing and documentation
Drill steel field inspections with detailed reporting
Air and weight testing of drills at each mine site
Bit and drill steel deliveries
Oversight and management of all inventories at the Arizona warehouse
Install and maintain all types of Sandvik drilling equipment at customer sites.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly and efficiently.
Provide technical support to operators and supervisors as needed.
Maintain accurate records of installations repairs and service visits.
Operate vehicle and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in training new employees when requested.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and heavy equipment safely.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with hydraulic systems preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
