This position reporting to the Executive Chef will be part of the Naumi Wellington Kitchen team responsible for managing our busy operations. The Kitchen team prepares a daily guest breakfast daily team lunches catering for conferences and events and dinner service at Lola Rouge a culinary exploration of Asian-inspired cuisines using locally sourced ingredients.

What will you do

Assisting and preparing daily food preparation across all kitchen sections
Ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standard of quality and presentation
Maintaining food safety hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
Be a strong advocate for food safety and quality!

Previous experience as a Commis in a professional kitchen
Level 5 or equivalent qualification in culinary arts is preferable
A passion for creating exceptional dishes and a commitment to culinary excellence
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of food quality
